CLASS DESCRIPTION
This class is designed for students who have some experience and comfort speaking Spanish in everyday situations, but would like to expand their ability to speak on a variety of topics.
The class may pull topics from Spanish-language media as a jumping off point for discussion, as well as incorporating more advanced grammar structures to increase precision and nuance.
Students will spend class time speaking together, with the conversation supported by the teacher to help you continue to extend your skills. We will practice being supportive of each other as learners, and continue to use strategies & tools to respond when we encounter communication difficulties in our second language. We will also explore cultural themes, guided by the interests and goals of the students in the class.
Advanced Spanish learners (ages 14+) who are ready for this level of practice are welcome to sign up!
